Poetry: Release Me

Release Me by Anthony R. Salandy

I lay restless,

In constant idle anguish—

I lay captivated by your touch,

I lay sick and burdened—

As I await the touch of your passion.

As I imagine the emotion,

The sinful lust—

And the intrusive passion—

I am bound by the pleasure imagined within—

As I lay in need of release.

As I feel your presence around me

I lay overpowered.

Overcome by abstract carnal desire—

Undoubtedly lost in immediate gratification.

As the grasp of a fervent ardour

Begins to climax between us—

A deepening intensity of longing consumes me—

As if ravishing my very soul—

Fulfilling my wanton desires.

Although the fire of my desire

Has been quelled

My undoubted cupidity of lust remains

Never released by your touch,

Restless I lay waiting to be satisfied again.
