Places I Have Been
There are places in this world where time
stands still. Clouds stop drifting, and wind
no longer blows. I have walked among them.
Ancient spirits dwell there. They speak to
those who listen with their heart. Well-worn
dreams pull me back. I see behind closed eyes.
Painted walls and stone temples tell stories of
our past. Ageless caves open their wombs to
bleed out history. One touch and I live again.
Dreams plant themselves within us. We are
rooted in the rock. There is magic in these places.
Come take my hand and walk with me.
