Fiction: Open Mic Night

file00064338614

Love, loss, friendship…and Salsa dancing? At this year’s first Open Mic Night, we had some amazing presentations of poetry, a little bit of music, and a lot of fun. Our night kicked off with some powerful poetry about mental health and the pain a loss can bring. It was wrapped up with a charming exchange of love poems between an adorable couple. Even after all of our fantastic poets shared their work, the night went on to feature an amusing karaoke solo and a bit of Salsa dancing. Anything can happen at Open Mic Night!
