Brent Weeks is an American author who is known for his amazing fantasy stories which find ways to incorporate modern technology. On top of his other awards, Mr. Weeks has spent time on the top of the New York Times best-seller list. Having his first novels published in 2008, Mr. Weeks has enjoyed great success with both his series: The Night Angel Trilogy and, the continuing series, Lightbringer. His fantasy series are intricately designed which allows readers to get lost within the pages of his books. With the addition of brilliantly designed characters, his works are nearly impossible to put down once picked up. Mr. Weeks includes his wife, Kristi, in the acknowledgments of all of his books as a main reason he is able to be successful in writing. To quote the “About the Author” section of all of his books: “He started writing on bar napkins, then on lesson plans, then full time, eventually someone paid him to do it. Brent lives in Oregon with his wife Kristi. He doesn’t own cats or wear a pony tail.”
