First I will mention and congratulate the team on an outstanding issue. It was a vast improvement over previous issues.
I would like to post a short little message about how much I enjoyed
Talkabout
by Charli g Valdez. It was a very interesting story, to say the least. I know that this type of story is a bit deeper than some, a bit more above-ground, but I liked it. I've read a few stories recently about the meshing of man and machine, I suppose you would say, or the interlocking network and how we, as humans, communicate with each other but this story had a bit of a unique perspective on it. Valdez set it up as though the technology that isn't even used to communicate with other humans still functions as an interface, a social interface, including "commands" from a cell phone ("Your call has gone unanswered. OK? The question mark can be a command, this a cultural subtlety; press the OK button") or even an alarm with a low battery. The tech in his story is an intermediary, and in a way it is anthropomorphosized as such and that is something I haven't encountered in fiction in recent memory. Of course, there was a lot more going on in the story, but these are the aspects I particularly enjoyed.
Again, great job on Volume 3.1.

I loved the ending. We've all gotten those messages on our cell, but the way he described, "traveling in someone's purse" was genious. I also like how he gaave the voices a human quailty, wether that be "sexy" or "British" I agree the story was unique, intellegent, and all around out standing. Some times an author goes into a story with an idea they want to get across, in this case I feel the idea was that technology effects to such an extreme that it dictates our lives, and though a great idea, sometimes a story can get boged down by it when that's all the story is about; but in this piece the te4chnology was a backdrop to a love that has escaped the main character, and it is this balance that I feel makes the story really work well.
Thankyou for the kind words, the staff put allot of work into it, and I'm glad you enjoyed it.
